A new Subway Surfers game leads the way in Apple Arcade’s July release slate, which also includes new battler Heroish and three re-releases: Kingdom Rush Vengeance TD+, Samorost 3+ and My Bowling 3D+.
Subway Surfers Tag is a spin-off coming on July 15 that sees players skate around open arenas completing missions, and is developed by original Subway Surfers creator Sybo. The Danish studio announced last week it is being acquired by Miniclip.
Heroish is a head-to-head battler / castle defence game made by Sunblink, which appears to be a new US-based outfit. The game is expected to arrive on July 22.
Then there are three re-releases: My Bowling 3D+ from iWare Design (July 1), Samorost 3+ from Amanita Design (July 8) and Ironhide’s Kingdom Rush Vengeance TD+ (July 29).
Things are hotting up in the world of mobile game subscription services. Fellow tech giant Netflix is also releasing five games in July, including Into the Breach, Immortality and more as it continues to build its catalogue.
