Orenburg Black Clay

Russia – RU028A
Composition: Clay
Colour: Black
Shape: Raw

This clay is thick and firm. The structure resembles blue Cambrian clay. Bites off with difficulty. Layered clay, when chewed, breaks down into plates and crunches like nuts. Gradually turns into a fatty mass, sticks to the teeth and palate. The taste is earthy, tart with a barely perceptible straw at the beginning. Slightly squeaks on the teeth at the end.
