Webinar: Pathways to Teaching for Immigrants and Refugees

Presented March 16, 2022

Pathways to Teaching for Immigrants and Refugees webinar title pageThis webinar, presented by World Education Services (WES), provides an overview of the WES Global Talent Bridge Teacher Bridge Project. The program’s goal is to make sure that new Americans are qualified and competitive candidates for jobs in educational settings. The program is designed to respond to teacher workforce shortages across the country, build on WES Global Talent Bridge’s Skilled Immigrant integration Program (SIIP), and bring together work in four states and two cities. Its partners collaborate in a one-year community of practice, and WES will present three webinars that will focus on career pathways, policy change, and partnership initiatives.

The webinar included six presenters including Sally Sutton, Program Coordinator of NMRC.
