Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, were seen gushing over Indian billionaire Anant Ambani’s $1 million watch during an opulent pre-wedding bash held in Jamnagar this weekend.
Video taken during the lavish pre-wedding party attended by more than 1,000 global billionaires, heads of state and A-list celebrities shows Chan asking Ambani, 28, about his “fantastic” luxury timepiece made by Richard Mille.
“I know, I told him already,” Zuckerberg immediately chimes in. “You know, I never really wanted a watch, but after seeing that, I was like, ‘Watches are cool.'”
“I might want that,” Chan can be heard saying as the video clip ends.
Zuckerberg and Chan were among many featured on the star-studded guest list during this weekend’s pre-wedding celebrations for Ambani and his wife-to-be, Radhika Merchant.
Ambani is the youngest son of India’s richest man, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, who boasts a jaw-dropping net worth of $116.8 billion, while his fiancée is the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant.
The nearly 1,200-person guest list also included Bill Gates, Sunder Pichai and Ivanka Trump; Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla; legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar; and Bollywood celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee.
The festivities lasted through Sunday and even included a performance by Rihanna.
