A new restaurant recently celebrated its grand opening in Akron.
On December 1, the new restaurant Cafe Rewind celebrated its grand opening in Akron, per Cafe Rewind's social media account. You can find the new restaurant at 1763 Goodyear Blvd.
According to the restaurant's website, Cafe Rewind is a "locally owned and operated business with the intent of bringing the Goodyear Heights community together." The restaurant's menu includes a variety of ramen bowls, salads, and hot pressed sandwiches.
If you're in the mood for ramen, you can get options like the Sunrise (which is a breakfast-style egg protein ramen), the Ninja Girl (which comes with BBQ chicken and mixed vegetables), the High Noon (which comes with your choice of chicken or brisket), the White Knight (which has garlic chicken, egg, and mixed vegetables), the Black Knight (which has BBQ brisket, egg, and mixed veggies), the Chimera (which comes with chicken, brisket, and BBQ pork), the Mega Pig (which comes with BBQ pork, egg, and mixed veggies), and the Moon Beam, which has garlic butter brisket. If you don't eat meat, the restaurant offers Gaia's Gift, which is a veggie ramen.
As for salads, Cafe Rewind makes options like the spring chicken salad (which comes with chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, sweet peppers, radish, cucumber, carrots, shredded cheese, egg, croutons, and your choice of dressing), the Red Dragon salad (which comes with Korean BBQ chicken breast, bamboo shoots, cashews, mandarin oranges, cucumber, cilantro, soy egg, scallions, sesame seeds, nori, sweet red peppers, sesame oil, and ginger sesame dressing), and Gaia's garden salad, which comes with mixed vegetables, nori, sesame seeds, cashews, sesame oil, and your choice of dressing.
If you're in the mood for a sandwich, the menu includes grilled cheese (which is made with 4 kinds of cheese: Monterey, cheddar, mozzarella, and American), the Roast Beast (which is a BBQ brisket sandwich with lettuce, sweet peppers, mayo, Monterey, and cheddar cheese), the Baroness (which is a garlic butter glazed brisket sandwich with creamy Italian, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mozzarella), and more.
And if you want something to drink, the restaurant serves a selection of teas and coffee.
