DJ Ruckus and Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik have split after a year of marriage, Page Six has confirmed.
Sources say that things “began to go awry” between the couple back in March, and they haven’t been able to get the marriage back on track.
“They haven’t really been together for a while,” said an insider, who blamed the couple’s schedules for the problems. “They’re really being pulled in different directions.”
E! Online first reported the news.
A rep told the site, “After careful thought and consideration, Shanina Shaik and [Ruckus] have decided to separate. They move forward with much mutual respect and love for each other, and ask to please respect their privacy during this time.”
Our source said the two remain friendly and the divorce is expected to be a smooth one.
The pair got engaged in December 2015 and were married in April 2018 on a private island belonging to the DJ’s cousin, Lenny Kravitz.
