As part of our workforce development and skills training events, PAN produces the Educators’ Forum: Promoting Effective STBBI, HIV, Hepatitis C and Harm Reduction Education with Indigenous People of BC. As its name implies, the aim of the gathering is the promotion of effective STBBI, HIV, Hepatitis C and harm reduction education with community educators.
The 4th Annual Educators’ Forum: Promoting Effective STBBI, HIV, Hepatitis C and Harm Reduction Education with Indigenous Peoples of BC took place February 12 and 13, 2019 on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish people, which includes Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam First Nations. This event is produced by PAN and the First Nations Health Authority, in partnership with CATIE, Vancouver Coastal Health, the BCCDC and YouthCO. This is a two-day gathering for educators and harm reduction practitioners to learn, share wisdom and network.
