Sunday night may soon top “Friday Night” as Eric Paslay’s favorite night of the week.

The country star, 32, married music publisher Natalie Harker on Sunday at Front Porch Farms in Charlotte, Tennessee in front of 200 guests.

Harker, 32, wore a champagne Vera Wang dress for the occasion, adorned with bow details and a long train.

“I thought it was so classic, it seemed right,” she tells PEOPLE. “This was one of the only dresses I saw that had that old-world elegance to it. I think it’s just really, really beautiful.”

Paslay wore a custom-made black suit that featured pin-stitching details from C McGill by Only One Tailoring.

“I just wanted to look classy and comfortable,” he says.

Harker walked down the aisle to music played by a string quartet. After the exchanging of vows, guests made their way into the reception area, which featured a covered pavilion that housed the dance-floor and catering, a side yard with cornhole boards, farm tables and beautiful quilts adorning the lawn, and bistro tables lining the pool area.

“[I wanted a] sprawling, casual feel to the whole day,” says Harker, who planned the wedding in only three months.

Décor included floral arrangements handmade by Harker, consisting of yellow spray roses, feverfew and wildflowers.

“I was absolutely adamant about doing my own flowers,” says the bride. “I was like, ‘I will never have the opportunity to spend that much money in a wholesale flower place again in my life without looking totally ludicrous and over-the-top!'”

The couple had their first dance to Frank Sinatra’s version of “Moonlight Serenade” in honor of Paslay’s grandfather, who along with his brothers played in a band by that name.

Guests were served a choice of steak or pasta for the main course, and dessert included banana pudding shooters and a four-tiered vanilla bean cake designed by Leland Riggin of Dessert Designs.

Following the wedding, the newlyweds will be heading to Italy for their honeymoon.

“I just love Eric so much and I’m so excited to be his wife,” says Harker. “I’m excited for him to become permanent family to me.”

“[The best part] is knowing that my best friend is the steady star in my sky, and knowing that she’ll always be there,” adds Paslay. “We’re committing to each other. I’m grateful she knows what journey we’re on together. It’s pretty cool.”

The couple got engaged in December 2014 after dating each other for two years and being friends for seven.
