Taylor Swift has bought 'TaylorSwift.porn' and 'TaylorSwift.adult' domain names before they become available to the public, according to reports.

The ‘Shake It Off’ singer, who is known for her business savviness, has purchased the addresses as part of a public sale by The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in the US.

She has apparently bought the domains to avoid misuse of her name.

A variety of new web domain names will go on public sale in June however some brands and public figures are being given the chance to buy ahead of time.

Microsoft Office have reportedly snapped up 'Office.porn' and 'Office.adult'.

Standard addresses such as '.com' and '.co.uk' are becoming increasingly limited due to the growth of the internet, therefore ICANN release a string of new suffixes monthly.

The group claim that different endings to web addresses help users arrive at their destination quicker because they know what they are getting.

Back in January, Taylor attempted to trademark a number of phrases from her latest album ‘1989’ including “this sick beat” and “nice to meet you, where you been?”

She also decided to remove all of her songs from popular music streaming website Spotify in 2014, claiming that “music should not be free”.
