Nursing Student Ash Lee Hicks Reflects on Impact of Education

“Post allowed me to learn about things that connect to my real life – and affect me personally.”

Read Ash Lee’s full story here and be on the lookout – in January, we’ll be sharing current Main Campus student Taina Pagan’s story of support.  You don’t want to miss it!

Weekly Wellness Corner

The Weekly Wellness Corner is brought to you by the Counseling Center – here, you’ll find content, tips, tricks, programs, and resources to help you thrive as a Post Eagle!

As we start the beginning of finals weeks and continue to enjoy the last month of the year, here are 5 reminders…

  • Release whatever or whoever is causing your stress, heartache, unhappiness, uncertainty, or pain. It’s time to shift. You’re worthy of nourishment in your relationships and the spaces you occupy.

  • Love is meant to heal and restore, not hurt or destroy. Dysfunction does not serve your highest self. Let go of things that cause doubt and unworthiness in your spirit.

  • Be a protector of your space and peace, especially during your seasons of change. If it’s not in alignment, shift. You do not have to force what is for you.

  • Your energy is valuable. Your joy is sacred. Invest your time and effort wisely.

  • You deserve the same goodness that you wish for others. Stop settling because starting over feels too hard. Shedding is seasonal. Giving yourself grace when beginning again is your only option: less self-judgment and more self-compassion. You are worthy of your own kindness and patience.
