QUEENSBURY — Queensbury freshman Davian Williams hurled a complete-game two-hitter Friday in a 2-0 Foothills Council baseball victory over South Glens Falls.
Williams, who struck out five batters, improved his record to 3-0 in the league as he outdueled South High senior Ben Cohen, who tossed a one-hitter with five Ks.
Williams has allowed one hit and six hits in 17 innings pitched this season, with 18 strikeouts.
Oliver Pratt and freshman Jacob Wolf delivered RBIs for the Spartans in the win, with Wolf singling for their only hit. Queensbury improved to 3-2 in the league, 3-4 overall.
SCHUYLERVILLE 10, HUDSON FALLS 0: Trevor French fired six innings of one-hit ball with nine strikeouts as the Black Horses earned the Foothills Council shutout.
Jameson Brownell pitched a hitless seventh to wrap up the win, and Schuylerville rattled off 10 singles, including two each by Luke Sherman and Ben Van Veghten.

GRANVILLE 9, FORT ANN 0: Logan Breton struck out 14 and issued two walks over six innings as the Golden Horde blanked Fort Ann.
Will Jennings struck out the side in the seventh to complete the shutout. Breton helped his own cause with two singles and an RBI, and Trey Mason went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs to lead Granville at the plate.
Hunter Charpentier doubled for the Cardinals, while Tim Webb and Sean Havens added base hits.
HADLEY-LUZERNE 12, ARGYLE 0: A powerful pitching performance by Matt Case led Hadley-Luzerne past Argyle in Adirondack League action.
Case gave up one hit and struck out 11 in five innings of shutout ball. Taylor Smead doubled and drove in four runs for the Eagles.
NORTH WARREN 9, SALEM-CAMBRIDGE 0: Wyatt Jennings helped his own cause with a double, single and two RBIs, as he fanned nine batters over six innings of shutout ball.
Maceo Matson went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and Killian Weyant added two singles and two RBIs, and both stole two bases for the Cougars.
Salem-Cambridge got a double from Stephen Yakubec and two singles from Sawyer Saddlemire.
WARRENSBURG 17, WHITEHALL 3: Caleb Remington had two hits and an RBI, Stevie Schloss hit a double and scored four runs, and Caden Allen doubled and drove in four runs as the Burghers rolled past Whitehall.
Louis Lang added a base hit and two RBIs for Warrensburg (4-1, 8-2), while Brady Cheney (5-0) picked up the win with two innings of no-hit ball.
Mason Cigana hit a two-run single to lead the Railroaders.
BOLTON 13, CROWN POINT 1: Jace Hubert pitched a complete game with 14 strikeouts to lead the Eagles to the MVAC win. Liam Foy and Tyler Trowbridge each hit a pair of doubles to power Bolton at the plate, and Andy Morehouse also had two hits.
SARATOGA CATHOLIC 16, HOOSIC VALLEY 2: Pierce Byrne went 3 for 5 with a solo home run, a double and three runs scored to lead the undefeated Saints to the Wasaren League win.
Hunter Fales and Jason Pescetti each hit two singles, with Pescetti driving in two runs, and Ronan Rowe added a double and four RBIs. Brian Selig allowed one hit and struck out six over four innings to earn the win for Spa Catholic (6-0, 7-0).
GIRLS LACROSSE
SOUTH GLENS FALLS 22, HUDSON FALLS 4: Rowan DeMarco and Lillian Willis each scored five goals and Ava Reynolds added four to power the unbeaten Bulldogs past Hudson Falls.
South High (6-0 overall) also got two goals from Addy Buckley, and a goal and three assists from Lauren Durfey. DeMarco, Reynolds and Buckley each had two assists. Kiera Simmons and Lucy Pliscofsky combined for six saves.
Danica Liebig netted three goals and Lizzy Donnelly added one for the Tigers, who got six saves from Elivia Woodward.
QUEENSBURY 22, SCHUYLERVILLE 1: Eleven Spartans entered the scoring column and the Spartans recorded their 110th consecutive Foothills Council victory.
Senior midfielder Kaitlyn Barton distributed a personal-best five assists and became the 10th Spartan to reach 200 career points. Barton now has 204 points, including 135 goals and 69 assists.
Lilly Trowbridge netted four goals and matched a career-high with four assists, Kady Duffy delivered five goals and a pair of assists, and Lillian Hess registered her first career hat trick.
Sarah Johnson added a goal and tied a career-high with three assists, Quinn Jones contributed two goals and an assist, Gianna Marcantonio ripped home a pair of goals, and Kendal Kelsey had a goal and two assists as the Spartans (3-0, 6-0) won for the 25th straight time at home. Goalkeeper Bayley Duffy totaled eight saves.
Daisy Mehan tallied the lone goal off an assist from Ava Bodnar and Keegan Long stopped seven shots for the Black Horses (3-2, 3-2).
BOYS LACROSSE
SOUTH GLENS FALLS 14, JOHNSTOWN 8: The Bulldogs rallied from a 5-4 halftime deficit Thursday night and pulled away with a six-goal fourth quarter.
Hudson DeLisle led South High with four goals and three assists, and Dom Daly and Max Maziejka each added a pair of goals in the win.
Zach Germain, Anthony Cooper, Preston Mattison, Asher Martens, Kaiden Moore and Noah Hilleboe also scored for the Bulldogs, which got two assists each from Germain, Mattison and Ashton Humphries. Logan Mahoney and Aiden Carpenter combined for 12 saves.
