During Sunday’s lost against the Philadelphia Eagles, it was announced by the Patriots owner Robert Kraft that Tom Brady will be honored by the organization on June 12 next year. Brady was drafted in 2000 at the 199th overall pick in the 6th round out of Michigan.

By the end of his career it is safe to say that Brady can be considered the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. Kraft said during the halftime celebration that Brady will not have to meet the four year waiting period to get inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. Brady holds many outstanding records within the entire National Football League and his legacy will carry on.

Brady’s time in Foxboro lasted 20 seasons from 2000-2019 where he won six Super Bowls with head coach Bill Belichick. After the season ended Brady walked to free agency where he would go on and sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for three seasons where he would win another Super Bowl in 2021 against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
