Men Punk a Leftist Women-Only Tech Employment Conference by Registering as 'Non-Binary'

An event that bills itself as the largest networking opportunity for women and (lol) "non-binary" in technology had an unpleasant surprise when it was swamped by men who self-identified as "non-binary" to crash the event.

The Grace Hopper Celebration, sponsored by a group called AnitaB in Orlando, featured speakers, a career expo, and, more importantly, a job fair.

Cullen White, who is something called the "chief impact officer" at AnitaB, was not amused at men attending the $1,300 per head (average cost) event. That should come as no surprise to anyone who has ever had dealings with the left.

This is supposed to be a joyous event that centers around you. Yesterday, it became clear that there are a far greater number of cisgender men attending than we anticipated.

Simply put, some of you lied when you registered. And as evidenced by the stacks and stacks of resumes you're passing out, you did so because you thought you could come here and take space to try and get a job. We need male allies; we need men who want to celebrate women, work with and for women. So, we welcome men in this space—to learn and support and improve.

He went on to demand that they stop, or he'd cry or something.

According to reports, men (I don't know how anyone knew they weren't non-binary like they claimed) soaked up a disproportionate number of the heavily discounted academic tickets, as well as interview slots.

"Unlike previous years, there were a lot of guys who really seemed to be taking over the spaces," Schwartz said. "And unlike events in the past where everyone was polite and supporting and creating an uplifting space for supporting women and nonbinary people in the field, this year men were pushing and shoving to get in the front of access to the presentation booths...I heard this year's conference described as disappointing and desperate."

She added: "To be clear, these weren't nonbinary or trans women who are an extremely small part of the computing field and go to that space in [the] community. These were men who didn't respect that space. Given recent reverse discrimination cases, it could be that they felt entitled to not only enter but dominate that space."

The AnitaB president, Bo Young Lee, took to LinkedIn to apologize for the outcome.

Many of you are feeling unsafe, physically, and psychologically, and you're feeling unheard.

We tried to create a safe space, and this week we saw the outside world creep in. This makes me angry, and it makes me sad, but mostly it makes me want to fight.

One of the logical and foreseeable outcomes of racial balkanization and the ability to self-identify is people taking advantage of the system. Elizabeth Warren, for instance, lied about having American Indian ancestry to snake a tenure-track law professorship that led to a seat in the US Senate. A survey found that about one-third of all white college, applicants lie about their race in the hope of taking advantage of one of the multitude of minority preference programs.

AnitaB and organizations like it continue to portray the disproportionately low number of women in various fields of technology as some sort of evidence of discrimination. That is bullsh**. The choice to work in a technology field begins in college. Women hold about 27 percent of all STEM degrees because, despite special programs out of the wazoo to attract women into the field, women don't choose to seek a major in that area. Logically, to get the number of women working in STEM above that number requires conscious discrimination against men.

Despite the Supreme Court's historic ruling on affirmative action (BREAKING: Supreme Court Rejects Race-Based College Admissions), let's not delude ourselves into thinking the multi-billion dollar race-preference industry is going to go away without a helluva fight. What the court has done is give us a stick to beat discriminatory employers and events with. The admission that an event is only for certain racial or sexual groups is grounds for legal action. Couple that with a leftist culture that can't bring itself to define what a woman is, and you have set the stage to demolish these racist and sexually discriminatory entities using their own rules.
