Motor

The Ristretto® 512 First Edition motorbike is driven by a powerful mid-drive motor capable of up to 4500 watts of peak power. The controller offers two modes of operation: Street Legal Mode, which reaches a maximum speed of 28 mph, and Race Mode, which can reach a top speed of 40 mph. (It is important to note that Race Mode is intended for use on private property only).

The Motor has been re-engineered for high efficiency and features carbon fiber elements. The brushless design eliminates friction, leading to several advantages, including: More responsiveness, optimal temperature management, lower maintenance, ensuring optimal performance. The 512 Smart Motor App allows you to switch between modes and customize settings such as power level, throttle response rate, pedal assist level, and more. You can also make adjustments on the controller's LCD display. The powerful motor of the Ristretto® 512 First Edition enables all the functions required for daily commuting and riding needs.

Catalina Battery

Machined with premium aluminum alloy materials to ensure ample heat dissipation, equipped with a dual safety BMS, fuse module to protect against overcharge, over-discharge, overload and short circuiting, and an Apple AirTag anti-theft slot. Utilizing the best Samsung 50E premium 21700 cells, this 30Ah battery pack has a total capacity of 1550Wh, which could provide up to 100 miles of range in pedal assist mode, and over 45 miles of range in throttle-only mode. Fully charge the battery within an 8 hour period, with the life expectancy of a properly maintained battery is up to 5 years. The battery is covered by a one-year warranty.

Anti-theft Tracking Slot

Your Catalina battery back is designed with an AirTag slot for users that want the option for anti-theft tracking for their bike and battery, in the Find My App.

When the water resistant AirTag is attached, and your AirTag is nearby, your iPhone can lead you straight to your battery and bike. You‘ll see the distance to your AirTag and the direction to head in — all thanks to Ultra Wideband technology.

Display

The intelligent LCD display allows for complete control of your Ristretto® motorbike functions. The colorful backlight LCD provides highly visible statistics - day or night and in all riding conditions. The lightweight display is a 3.5-inch color TFT screen with clock function.

Designed for all weather conditions with IP65 level waterproofing, and micro USB serial communication port. Optional Bluetooth® functions can be accessed through the Ristretto® App. The durable display shell material is ABS / PC blend paired with a super strong tempered glass screen.

512 Smart Motor App

The 512 Smart Motor App, which features an integrated navigation system, offers a comprehensive level of customization for your riding experience. By connecting to the controller via Bluetooth®, it grants access to a vast array of settings and preferences that can be adjusted to the rider's specific needs. One of the app's most noteworthy features is the ability to customize power modes. This enables riders to select the level of assistance they desire from the motor, from a full power mode that provides maximum assistance to a more manual mode that allows for greater control and a more natural riding experience.

In addition to power modes, the app also enables riders to adjust pedal assist levels. This feature allows riders to choose the level of assistance they want from the motor when pedaling, which can be particularly useful for riders who want to challenge themselves or for those who are just starting out. Another significant feature of the app is the capability to customize throttle activation. This allows riders to select whether the electric motor is activated by pedaling or by using the throttle on the handlebars.

The app also includes a built-in performance monitor that enables riders to track their speed, distance, battery life, and other vital metrics. This can be especially useful for riders who want to monitor their progress over time or for those who want to set goals for themselves. All in all, the 512 Smart Motor App, with its integrated navigation system, offers a wealth of customization options that allow riders to personalize their riding experience and monitor their performance, making it a must-have tool for any user.

Front Fork Suspension

The Ristretto® 512 includes a DNM USD-8FAT inverted front fork suspension system. These premium forks use AL 7075 tubes, sturdy rubber seals, a 15mm Thru-axle design, and large plastic fork guards.

Designed specifically for heavy electric bikes, these forks give 160mm travel through the coil and air hydraulic spring system. We’ve finely tuned the rebound and compression for a perfect all around ride with your 512. The click adjuster also allows you to set it exactly how you like it.

Rear Shock Suspension

The Ristretto® 512 features dual rear suspension. These durable DNM MK-AR shock absorbers offer a nitrogen-charged oil damping internal floating piston, hard chromed steel 14mm damper shaft, and integrated temperature compensation. With a 100lb spring rate on each shock, they give up to 40mm travel.

Although we’ve tuned this suspension to give perfect handling specifically for the 512, the easy turn spring pre-load and rebound damping adjuster allow you to set it just the way you like it. .

Master Controller

The Master Controller serves as the central command for the turn signals, front lights, and horn on the 512 First Edition bike. It efficiently manages the activation and deactivation of these important features.

Headlights

The Ristretto® 512 comes standard with a fully integrated two-bulb LED headlight. These 3000lm variable voltage white lights give a wide and deep view of even the darkest environments. Their durable water-resistant shell is protected by highly conductive alloy covers to ensure ample heat dissipation.

Taillights

The 512 First Edition taillights are designed to express union within the bars of 10 LED lights that turn on individually for added visual impact. Turn signals are activated with the Master Controller.

The aluminum spoiler adds durability and seamless integration into the 512 frame. The 512 taillights not only serves its purpose of lighting but also showcase the bike's identity and personality.

Tires

The Ristretto® 512 First Edition A24 includes Milehigh’s M24 EV+ tires, which merge the best of multiple worlds. These 24" x 4" fat tires provide increased stability and momentum along with a larger footprint that provides increased floatation for soft terrain, providing a more comfortable ride.

The block styletread offers increased traction on most paths from smooth pavement to soft gravel. Designed with a durable casing and puncture resistant layer, protecting against abrasion and sharp debris to prevent flats and keep you rolling.

Brakes

The Ristretto® 512’s Tektro Auriga e-bike hydraulic disc brakes give solid braking performance without breaking your forearms. By using a 203mm rotor on the front, and 180mm rotor on the rear, the 512 has a perfect balance for strong stopping power right where you need it.

Tektro calipers’ forged aluminum body, stiff hose casing, and non-corrosive mineral oil helps prevent the pads from overheating and maintains reliable braking when you need it the most.

With built-in power cut-off sensors, pulling the high modularity brake levers will not only cut power from the motor, but will also warn nearby drivers by activating the high viz brake light.

R512 - Ristretto Master Key

Saddle Designed for Comfort

The 512 First Edition comes with a finely crafted seat that is built with a durable water resistant outer layer and has been carefully designed with riding ergonomics in mind, allowing the rider to adjust their position on the seat that suits their personal preference. Resulting in custom comfort, for an elevated luxury ride.

Horn

Clearly alert nearby drivers and pedestrians with the fully integrated Ristretto horn. Thanks to its compact design and matte black housing, the Ristretto® horn is perfect for those who want to be heard without sacrificing style.

This horn operates through the custom Ristretto® handlebar switch and battery pack. Yet another reliable Ristretto® accessory with no additional chargers for you to fuss with.
