Dog Adoption Event

The City of Rome and the Rome Humane Society are partnering to help local dogs find their fur-ever home.

On Saturday, May 4, both agencies will be hosting a dog adoption event at Kennedy Arena, 500 West Embargo Street, from 10-4 p.m. Adoption fees will be sponsored by the City of Rome.

Both organizations will gratefully accept donations. The organizations are requesting Benebones, tennis balls, dog chews (non rawhide) and dog treats.

All dogs will be vaccinated and licenses will be issued for Rome residents. All adopting families will receive a take-home bag with supplies for their new family members as well.
