Are you passionate about logistics and customs clearance, particularly within the pharmaceutical import industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is crucial? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to make a significant impact! We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Transit Assistant for our client in Rwanda. This role offers the chance to play a vital part in our operations, ensuring the seamless transit and customs clearance of pharmaceutical products imported into Rwanda. Responsibilities: =Coordinate transit activities for pharmaceutical imports, including documentation preparation, customs clearance, to ensure timely and secure delivery. =Collaborate closely with customs officials, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth transit of pharmaceutical goods and resolve any transit-related issues promptly. =Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements governing transit and customs procedures for pharmaceutical imports, including accurate declaration of taxes and duties involved. =Maintain meticulous records and documentation of transit activities, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations, in adherence to industry standards and regulations. Provide support and assistance to the transit team as needed, contributing to the overall success of our import operations. Qualifications: +Proven experience in transit and customs clearance, specifically within the pharmaceutical import sector, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements involved. +Familiarity with pharmaceutical import transit procedures, documentation requirements, and customs regulations in Rwanda. +Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. +Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. +Fluency in both English and French is essential, both written and verbal, to facilitate seamless communication with diverse stakeholders. +Proficiency in MS Office applications and transit management software, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and technologies.
