Daniel Wu moves to United States for his daughter

19 Jun – Daniel Wu's manager, Theresa has recently dismissed the rumours regarding actor Daniel Wu saying that he has taken a short hiatus and returned to the United States with wife and daughter in order to take care of his ailing mother.

Previously, the media reported that after Wu's mother was revealed to have been diagnosed with cancer, he dissolved his management company, Revolution and took a temporary hiatus from showbiz.

However, according to Singtao Daily, when Wu was asked regarding his return to America, Daniel's manager Teresa denied that it has anything to do with his mother's health, but that the actor and his wife thought that it would be a better environment to bring up their daughter, Raven.

"Daniel is currently developing his career in America, and will need to spend more time there to discuss jobs with several directors," said Theresa. "But he will return to Hong Kong if there's a suitable job."

Meanwhile, Lisa S.' assistant, Do also confirmed that Lisa has already taken an indefinite vacation since December last year and returned to the United States.

Nevertheless, she is unsure whether it has anything to do with her mother in-law, Mrs. Wu's current health condition.

"Right now, I will not be taking any jobs for Lisa until further notice," said Do.
