British Pattern 1888 Bayonet Mk II 1901 Lee Metford
This is a rare matching numbers Lee Metford Rifle, Pattern 1888 Bayonet. Dated February '01 (2'01), with Enfield - "EFD" and War Department broad arrow stamps on bayonet. It is an early pattern design Mk II with brass riveted handle with a drain hole drilled through pommel. The overall condition of this unsharpened bayonet is very good with only light corrosion on the ricasso and pommel. OA 16.6” Blade 12”.
