How do I download the digital edition?

Desktop:

When viewing the digital edition on desktop, click the icon with the arrow pointing down. This icon is located in the upper right of your screen.

Mobile:

On a mobile device, click the menu in the upper left (3 horizontal lines).

Then, scroll down and click the Save option.

How do I read the digital edition on Kindle?

To view the digital edition on a Kindle, download the PDF of the issue and send it to your Kindle.

How do I view past issues?

To view past issues, click on the Archive icon. Please note that you will only see issues included in your subscription. You may need to login again to view a different issue.

Then, scroll down and click the Archive icon. A list of issues included in your subscription will show.

Please note that your login for the digital edition is not connected to your login for this website, skyandtelescope.org.

What digital edition issues does my subscription include?

Your subscription includes all digital edition issues from when you subscribed, going back to January 2010. A new subscription will give you access to the current issue and the two prior issues. For example, if you subscribed on September 15, 2022, your subscription would include the current issue at that time (November 2022), as well as the two immediately prior issues (October 2022 and September 2022). New subscriptions will not include access to all of the issues in the digital archive.

Where can I find the current issue?

The current digital issue can always be found by going to skyandtelescope.org/digital. For issue highlights and information, click the Current Issue link at the top of our site, next to the Shop At Sky button.

I'm not seeing the issues I expect to see in the archive.

The archive will show all of the issues included in your subscription. If you do not see the issues you believe you should have access to in the archive, please contact our subscription partner, Omeda, at [email protected].

How do I update my email address?

How do I renew my subscription?

I subscribed but I still can't see the digital edition.

After you subscribe, it may take a few days to process your access to the digital edition. If you don't have access after a week from when you subscribed, please contact our subscription partner, Omeda, at [email protected]. Please note that holidays and weekends may also delay subscription processing.
