June is Dairy Month! Traditionally, it was the month when dairy animals had lots of milk and dairy farmers were busy making it into products such as butter, cheese and cultured products such as yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, crème fraiche and other dairy delights. Claire Hopley will explain how milk is turned into so many varied products—in some cases in and around Springfield. Seasonal recipes and cookbooks will be featured along with tasty dishes for sampling.
