Russia attacked Ukrainian regions at night and in the morning. There are at least 25 injured and four dead

In total, Ukrainian air defences destroyed 44 of the 64 air targets that Russia attacked Ukraine with on the morning of February 7.

At least 14 people have been injured in two districts of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, as a result of Russian shelling. Two people were killed. An 18-storey building was damaged. There are probably dead under the rubble. Rocket fragments also damaged high-voltage power lines. Some local residents were left without electricity. In the Kyiv region, missile fragments hit residential buildings. Two people were injured. 

In Kharkiv, which is 30 km from the border with Russia, rocket attacks were recorded in the Sloboda district. Non-residential infrastructure was damaged. Three people were lightly injured. In addition, approximately 22 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian artillery and mortar fire. The Russians also used guided aerial bombs. In Pishchane, a 70-year-old woman was taken to hospital with an explosive injury. 

The Russians attacked Mykolaiv, in the south of Ukraine, with Shaheds and air-launched missiles. There were hits in the residential sector and on infrastructure. The blast wave damaged the roofs and walls of more than 30 buildings. One man died in hospital after being seriously injured in the shelling. Several other people received light shrapnel wounds. In addition to the houses, a gas pipeline was damaged. 

An industrial facility in Drohobych, Lviv region, which borders Poland on the western border, was hit by a shell. The building was damaged, and a fire broke out at the site. There is no information on injuries or deaths. In the Stryi district, Ukrainian air defence shot down one Russian missile. 

Ukrainian air defence was also operating in the Ivano-Frankivsk region in the west of Ukraine. Russians attacked the region with missiles. There is no information on casualties.

Russia also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with missiles. According to preliminary reports, there were no civilian casualties in the region. In addition, Russians attacked the region with UAVs. Debris from the UAV caused damage to the territory of a utility company in the Novomoskovsk district. The Nikopol district, which borders the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region across the Dnipro River, also came under fire from Russian artillery. 

Russians attacked 19 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied since 2022. At least 179 attacks on frontline towns and villages were recorded. A 69-year-old woman was killed in an artillery strike on Stepnohirsk. 

On the night of February 7, Russians fired 37 times in the de-occupied Kherson region in the south of Ukraine. The Russian army fired 150 shells from various types of weapons. Residential areas, enterprises and other civilian infrastructure were damaged. One person was killed, and three others were injured. 

In the Donetsk region, which has been temporarily occupied since 2014 and where the frontline lies, two people got injured in Avdiivka and Hostre as a result of Russian shelling. 

At night and in the morning, Russians shelled the border communities of the Sumy region, which borders Russia to the north, 11 times. Thirty explosions were recorded. The Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, and Seredyna-Buda communities came under Russian fire.
