Catherine Denis

Co-Founder & COO at Numida

Catherine Denis has had an impressive career in the international development and fintech space. In 2009, they began their career as Program Manager, Junior Fellowship in International Development and African Program Staff with Engineers Without Borders Canada. In 2013, they took on the role of Seed Preparation and Process Intern with Polymath Ventures. In 2014, they became the COO of EarthEnable. In 2015, they began working as both a Consultant Analyst with The World Bank and Co-Founder & COO of Numida Technologies, a Ugandan fintech startup providing unsecured growth capital to semi-formal small businesses.

Catherine Denis received a Masters in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 2004 and 2009.
