Hyundai upgrades i10 hatch with ADAS and design updates in these countries

While Hyundai recently updated the Grand i10 Nios for India recently, the automaker has just launched a different update for the hatchback in the European markets where it is called just the i10. The overall design for the i10 hatchback remains the same but there are certain design elements that are different from the India spec. Moreover, the most significant upgrade is the addition of ADAS functions in the compact hatchback.

Design changes:
The standard Hyundai i10 in Europe will now get a new set of LED DRLs that follow the company’s latest parametric lighting technology. They sit in the front grille in a hexagonal pattern and are even different from the N-Line version. Then there is the appearance of the new brushed silver badging that the company has been using for newer models. New colour combinations are being offered as well. The LED pattern for the tail lamps has also been updated and is different from the India spec car and the design for the rear bumper has changed as well. Hyundai Smart Sense:
The biggest upgrade in the Euro-spec i10 is the addition of Hyundai Smart Sense, which brings ADAS capabilities to the hatchback. The i10 gets forward collision avoidance, lane follow assist and rear occupant alert safety functions.
In global market, the i10 hatchback features Hyundai’s 1-litre, 3-cylinder, 66 hp petrol engine and the 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, 83 hp petrol engine. The turbocharged, 1-litre, TGD-i petrol is also on offer and generates 99 hp.
