Claudio Baglioni, Pino Daniele, Domenico Modugno, Fiorella Mannoia, Riccardo Cocciante, Renato Zero, Gianni Morandi and Adriano Celentano, Mina and Gino Paoli, recently accompanied on stage at the Ariston in Sanremo. This is the extraordinary curriculum of Danilo Rea, the most famous improvisational pianist we can boast in Italy. Born in Vicenza on August 9, 1957, he moved shortly after to Rome with the whole family. His story in music was born right there, in Rome, between the walls of the house, where the enchantment for the old Modugno vinyls is stronger, even as a child, than any entertainment: the real game is playing the piano, the real enchantment is the music, the true dream is the melody, true abandonment is in the harmony. His passion became study at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, where he graduated in piano with full marks and where he taught jazz until 2017. Classical, rock and pop studies influenced his training and converged through jazz, his true passion , in an unmistakable and unique style composed of two fundamental ingredients: melody and improvisation. A great concert organized in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired ONLUS-APS.
