Starting June 15, 2023, Salesforce will no longer support the use of UUID token formats for API Clients in CC Account Manager.

In response to Salesforce’s decision to discontinue support for the Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) token formats for API Clients in CC Account Manager, WISMOlabs has proactively transitioned to JSON Web Token (JWT) format across all our products. We’ve seen this change coming and have been preparing for it over a year now, which means there will be absolutely no disruption to the services, including (Salesforce order notifications, Salesforce shipment notifications, Salesforce order and shipment tracking) we provide to our customers.

Why the Switch?

The JWT token format offers numerous advantages over the UUID. In addition to improved security and data integrity, it allows for more granular access control for systems that need to process the tokens. This transition enables WISMOlabs to provide an even more secure and reliable experience for our customers, ensuring they can continue using Salesforce and other platforms that require this token format without interruption.

Preparation and Implementation

Our team has been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure this transition is as smooth as possible. The update was rolled out across our entire product suite without a hitch, thanks to our dedicated software engineers who’ve meticulously planned and executed this changeover.

Our proactive approach ensured that our customers didn’t have to worry about any potential disruptions or security issues. The transition to JWT was seamless, and we’re proud to report that our customers haven’t experienced any problems.
