Jewelry and watch brand Thomas Sabo has landed Stateside. Today, the German brand marked the grand opening of its Westfield World Trade Center boutique in downtown Manhattan — its first U.S. store.
“We are very proud about the opening of our first flagship in the U.S. in the brand new Westfield World Trade Center in New York City. This opening symbolizes a big step for the company in terms of positioning Thomas Sabo as one of the leading premium jewelry and watches brands worldwide,” said Thomas Sabo, founder and chairman of the company.
The boutique had its soft opening on Aug. 16.
The brand also plans to increase its U.S. wholesale business. It has hired Todd Tieche, formerly a sales manager for Richemont, as its U.S. wholesale director.
