• Backstage News On Naomi & Sasha Banks Returning To WWE

Back in May, WWE suspended Sasha Banks & Naomi for walking out of RAW. They were also stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

There were rumors that Sasha got released in June, but WWE hasn’t confirmed it and nothing was officially announced.

The Wrestling Observer reported a few days back that Head Of Creative Triple H & WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon are now trying to get Sasha & Naomi back, since their issues were with Vince McMahon (who is now retired from WWE).

In an update to this situation, Wrestlingnewsco is reporting that WWE has reached an agreement with Sasha & Naomi to return to the company.

The Observer is now reporting that it does look like Sasha & Naomi will come back, but it’s not a ‘done deal’ yet:

“That’s what I’m hearing. If everything goes the way it’s expected to go, they’ll be back. Yeah. It’s not…I don’t think that the deal was done. I mean, it’s been reported the deal was done.

When I asked people in the company, it was basically, ‘Yeah, that’s what it looks like is going to happen,’ but it’s not like it’s 100% done or you know, everything’s been etched in stone, but the expectation is that they’ll both be back, which, there’s going to be that and I’m sure there’s going to be other people that were unhappy and will probably be back as well.”

• Old School WCW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW Veteran Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker (Real name: DeWayne Bruce) celebrates his 60th birthday today.

DeWayne Bruce wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1989 until 2001.

As Buddy Lee Parker he was mostly used as a jobber, that was sometimes teamed up with fellow undercard talent Lt. James Earl Wright and together they were known as ‘The State Patrol’.

Later on he became a member of Kevin Sullivan’s Dungeon of Doom stable, where he was known as Braun The Leprechaun.

Most people remember Bruce as the head coach of WCW’s very own wrestling school, the famous Power Plant, which was a similar facility as the WWE’s current Performance Center.
