Automend Pro works with any OBD2 compliant vehicles. You can check your vehicle for an OBD-II certified logo.
If you can’t sync your vehicle to the app, please check the Bluetooth connection between the OBD2 and the App.
If you’re still experiencing syncing issues, follow these steps:
- Plug the OBD2 into the port
- Turn the KEY ignition ON
- Download the Automend Pro App (from the App or Play Store)
- Open the App (make sure your WiFi/4G is enabled)
- If the OBD2 is not synced yet, you’ll see a “Please establish OBD2 connection”
- Tap to scan and find the OBD2 or Tap "Add OBD"
- Choose Automend Pro from the list of sensors and connect

Could not get it working
I'm using a stock Pixel 5 running fully updated Android 11 and I downloaded the app from the Google Play Store today, June 23, 2021, app version Version 0.8.26.This app is not well designed and implemented for Android at all.A proper app would have offered to autofill email, name, etc.The app does not integrate with cut and paste. Rarely worked.The app would not offer to autofill my email address when recognized while I was entering it.The app does not integrate with the Google password manager. Did not allow password manager to suggest a strong password when setting up email account. Password change form did not correctly use suggested strong password.Password entry field in some cases auto-capitalized the first letter.I was unable to pair it. There is no documentation on how to pair this device. I fact, the documentation completely omits the whole concept of pairing. It doesn't happen by itself. No pairing code is provided.When I finally gave up and attempted to remove the device, it came apart (see photo) and I had to pry the innards out of the connector.I called the US number for tech support but it went into a long message about Covid-19 causing shipping delays and told me to use chat for tech support without a clue on how to do that.I am returning the device.

Je met volontairement "optimisée" entre guillemets parce que j'ai eu un mal de chien à l'utiliser. Déjà il faut disposer d'un compte et être connecté à internet (et en 3G c'est vraiment dur). La lenteur de l'application et le nombre important d'options payantes font qu'assez vite j'ai souhaité tester l'adaptateur avec d'autres applications supportant les adaptateurs ODB2.
Et là grosse surprise ça marche parfaitement. J'ai même vu un gros défaut sur mon moteur électrique grâce à lui alors que ma garantie s'arrête dans quelques mois et qu'aucun voyant moteur ne s'est encore allumé.
Donc très content du connecteur ODB2 mais assez frustré de l'application. Je pense qu'on devrait tous en avoir un et le passer régulièrement pour anticiper les problèmes (et les factures !).
Concernant l'application Automed Pro, je réessayerais dans quelques mois, le temps qu'ils aient pu améliorer les temps mais pour l'instant, je reste sur une application plus générale qui fonctionne parfaitement avec cet adaptateur.
