Being ill is never fun or easy. Luckily, we've designed our FT90 3-in-1: Forehead, Non-Contact Thermometer with you in mind. Press the power button and remember to hold the thermometer 0.8"-1.2" away from the area/object you intend on measuring. Then, hit 'Start' to begin your measurement. The measuring time is usually less than 1 second. You can now read the measurement value. We've even integrated smiles or frowns to easily interpret whether you have a fever or not. If your temperature is at 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, you will get a frown (fever). If your temperature is below 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit you will get a smile, indicating you are fever free! |

A great successor!
I've been using FT 60 model for I believe about 8 years. It was a life saver!Worked perfectly well in a harsh kitchen environment (two formula-feeding babies grown up with this excellent device).However, it had one fatal flaw: no any back-light at all! So after taking measurements at the dark you need to run as quickly as possible to see the numbers near the light source and you have just 5 seconds until they disappear from the screen.The flaw came with an advantage - it was twice smaller than FT 90 model and required just one tablet-size battery.The second flaw was - you need to use both hands (to push two buttons simultaneously) to take object-temperature measurements;The third - not so long ago a button at the center simply jumped our (a plastic thing inside it just scratched off after 8 years of pushing, but even in such state it's pretty usable (you still can press a tiny red button on the circuit if you have a thin fingers, see the picture lol).So FT 90 lacks all the flaws above - it has back-light, it doesn't require two hands in any mode, it's faster. The only flaw - it's twice bigger, but I don't really care about it... So the excellent successive product I would recommend to anyone, especially formula-feeding parents.
