Controlling the water temperature can keep the root zone healthy and increase nutrient absorption. When the hydroponic water and root zone temperature are too high, plants will wither, growth will be hindered, and dangerous things will breed. The higher the temperature of the solution, the less oxygen it can support and transport to the root zone. More importantly, as the temperature increases, the root zone actually needs more oxygen. High hydroponic water temperature puts plants in a difficult situation: the roots need more oxygen, but the nutrient solution actually carries less oxygen than usual. Chillers are vital to successful hydroponic grows because they keep the nutrient solution in the ideal temperature range. This water cooler system makes it easy to maintain the perfect temperature in your hydroponic reservoir, which will help ensure that you bring in big, healthy harvest. Cool solution temperature means more dissolved oxygen, which is great for creating healthy roots and, in turn, a bountiful harvest. Please note that the starting ambient temperature of your solution will always affect the duration of the initial chilling process.Aquarium chillers work by removing heat from the water and transferring it someplace else. The heat exchange process will cool the water by removing heat from it, which causes the water temperature to drop. "Cold" can't be transferred into the water.
