I had never had, let alone made homemade pasta. Retirement has it's perks. I had originally purchased for rolling dough for empanadas and perogies. But obviously since this was what I decided on, figured would try homemade pasta.
First time I decided to try it out I figured I would just do an experimental batch to get the hang of how to use it. Now keep in mind I did get the motor to use with this, which was a good decision for me. It went so well and easily that we had homemade pasta for dinner that night and it was awesome. Making the dough is not difficult and this unit works so easily, that I haven't bought pasta since having this pasta maker, so I'm using it once or twice a week.
I bought the spaghetti attachment after using the attachment that came with the maker also. Everything is well made and solid. Eventually I'll probably get a couple more attachments, but for now if I wanted a different thickness of noodle, a pizza wheel is easy enough to cut into the size I want.
It's also compact enough that it doesn't take much room in the cupboards. I've been using for couple of months now and still don't have anything negative to say about it.

Great Product, would definitely recommend.
I tried making lasagna noodles a few weeks ago. It took me over four hours using my rolling pin, a lot of hard work, sore palms/wrists, and I still couldn't get them as thin as this wonderful machine did in about an eighth of the time.I needed a little help from the wife to help crank it so I could keep the ribbon of pasta straight using both of my hands, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. It did want to "curl" the pasta to one side on the lower/wider thickness settings. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but "the fix" was to flip the pasta ribbon so the shorter edge faced the opposite way on the next lower setting. I'm sure I'll get better at it with more practice. It was harder keeping the stupid pot from constantly wanting to boil over onto my stove.Kind of wish that I had gotten the motor with it too, but maybe someone will give me it as a gift next holiday.
