The opaque mesh roof allows for a breeze to pass through for ventilation in hot weather, and the taped seams and rainfly are water resistant, so you can stay dry during storms. Hanging wall pockets and a ceiling gear loft grant you plenty of storage space for your food, tools, or other camping essentials without getting in your way or taking up precious sleeping space. The tent is very good . It has plenty of room. Its sturdy. Water resistant. We didnt find any holes. Other than the cord holes. It has two doors one in back and one in front. Its a good deal for the price for sure.

You can tell from the photos that the rainfly isn't meant for serious business, It doesn't come down very far so lots of rain is going to impact the side of the tent directly. We had moderate rain, not a light drizzle but not a heavy downpour, and in the morning there were significant puddles in the downhill corners and under the doorways. It's not entirely clear where the water is getting in. I just assume that without a rainfly that comes down lower, the material itself is slowly sleeping water in. Either that, or the bathtub is actually porous from the bottom. We have a full tarp under the tent as well. I'm still giving it three stars because it was incredibly easy to put up, just me and a 10-year-old. But, without water resilience confidence, it would be hard to make continued use of this tent in the Pacific Northwest.
