Decorated army officer Major Ed Dames tells the shocking true story of his time as operations and training officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency's top-secret Psychic Intelligence Unit. Together with his Psi Spy team, Dames used the practice of remote viewing to uncover accurate and verifiable military intelligence by going where no intel operatives on the ground could go -- into the very mind of the enemy. After retiring from the military, he turned his paranormal detective skills to finding missing persons such as millionaire pilot Steve Fossett, whose plane vanished in Nevada, and a young Colorado girl named Christina White, who disappeared seemingly without a trace. He has even located one of the most legendary missing objects in history, the Ark of the Covenant.  In Tell Me What You See, cosmic Columbo Major Ed Dames takes you behind the scenes of some of his most mind-bending cases.
  • Reveals true stories and fascinating secrets uncovered by the military's remote viewing teams--from intelligence on Soviet missile sites to the whereabouts of missing POWs in Vietnam to the location of the Ark of the Covenant
  • Maj. Dames is the most popular guest on George Noory's exceedingly popular radio show Coast to Coast AM
For anyone fascinated by the intersection of the military and the mysterious, Tell Me What You See is an amazing and completely absorbing must-read.

Q&A with Author Ed Dames

What got you interested in Remote Viewing?
Actually, I stumbled onto it by accident. As we detail in the book, once I had risen through the ranks of military intelligence, I was privy to the deepest darkest top-secret programs our government had to offer. When I learned there was this tested and proven capability out there to gather information about targets without actually sending operatives into the field, I jumped at it, I needed additional intelligence to crack critical problems at the time, and this breakthrough psychic technique was just what the doctor ordered. On a more personal level, I was always interested in the paranormal -- even as a boy, and remote viewing was the key to help unlock mysteries I’ve been curious about for a very long time. RV presented a world without secrets on so many levels, and in the spy biz especially -- that’s a really good world.

What was your greatest RV success?
There have been so many it’s hard to put my finger on just one. From finding missing and exploited children, to uncovering lost treasure like the Ark of the Covenant, to locating POWs and breaking the Soviet biological weapons program, the success rate in my career has been incredible. I suppose just keeping the military Psi Spy program alive as long as we did with so many enemies trying to shut us down could be considered a success. But I think taking the culmination of more than 25 years of developing this tool from the rigid confines of the military into the public arena has been most satisfying to me. To teach RV the way I do to eager and curious audiences around the world has been and continues to be an incredible experience. It makes it all worthwhile.

Why is RV important?
In
Tell Me What You See we demonstrate in no uncertain terms the powerful abilities the mind has locked away inside -- abilities most of us have only dreamed of. The human mind is unlike anything else there is, and we have only half- realized our potential. Now through the correct use of remote viewing, we can realize the other half. We show how anyone can learn RV to know anything, to gather direct knowledge of any event, person, or object across time and space.

What are you currently working on?
I have recently completed work on an RV technique I call Geofix, where we can pinpoint the location of anything geographically with no margin of error whatsoever. This is a very exciting development and we are using Geofix to continue the work we’ve always done such as hunting down child killers, locating treasure and searching for extraterrestrial and extradimensional life across the universe. As always we also continue to make use of RV to see what’s coming in the future, to look for indicators of warning that affect all of us. In
Tell Me What You See we attempt not so much to send a wake up call to people, as much as we want people to simply wake up. Here’s a world too many know nothing about. We hope to change that.

As the operations and training officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency's Psychic Intelligence Unit, Major Ed Dames, with his team, used the practice of remote viewing to uncover accurate military intelligence—from locating Soviet missile sites and Russian remote viewers to finding missing POWs in Vietnam and kidnapped U.S. general James Dozier. After retiring from the military, Dames turned his paranormal detective skills to finding missing persons, such as millionaire pilot Steve Fossett, whose plane vanished in Nevada, and a young Colorado girl named Christina White, who disappeared seemingly without a trace. I've have been reading this book and, let me tell you, it is great! I decided to try the audio app. so it is reading it to me. :) I am new to Kindle and thought it was great that I got the 12 page look inside right to my kindle. I am so excited to get back to reading. This spine chilling book about the life of Remote Viewer Major Ed Dames while he was an officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency's Psychic Intelligence Unit is just what I like, non-fiction. First let me just say, I have been following Ed Dames for 20 years from C2C with Art Bell and now George Noory. This is the first time I am getting inside the mind of a remote viewer even though I've been experimenting with it for years.I bought a CD once on it but I never took the class. I would be a perfect candidate because I'm an artist and, artist and musicians use both sides of their brain. It's like a left handed person is actually using more of their brain then a right handed person. It has nothing to do with being psychic at all. It is psi tech! People can't seem to wrap their mind around it. But, the govt. knew and, those he teaches know how to do it. The book starts in the Iraqi desert where he sees hundreds of young dead soldiers. Grimaces on their faces, dead In soviet made T-72's rusted and in disrepair engines running? He wondered what could have done this to these very young soldiers? There were no bullet holes, and there was no blood? He goes on to tell the story of Psi-tech Remote Viewing. After retiring from the military, Dames turned his paranormal detective skills to finding missing persons. I remember years ago he said Bin Laden was in pakistan. I remember him saying that Natalie Holloway was in the water in a lobster cage. But, the people in charge over there would not allow him and, his men to go investigating in the water! Someone with big time pull stopped that cold. How sad and, sick. Now he is doing more work with finding lost children. And, of course still finding gold.  The Book of Love and Creation: A Channeled Text  I just bought Paul Selig's book. Now... he channels guides and they told him to write it down again, it is time. He is featured on TV. He also was on coasttocoastam where he did his first big interview. He is amazing! You can look him up on you tube. He didn't ask for this. It just happened to him. He is such a nice man. I'm friends with both on facebook.

I have to say upfront - i m not a fan of Ed Dames or how he hawks his remote viewing services and predictions. Saying this, I am a fan of anything that helps fill-in the speckled history of the subject of remote viewing and Ed's account of his part in this history, I did find very interesting.

Its a well written book and filled with interesting information and I for the most found it enjoyable.

"Tell Me What You See" is a Great Book! I LOVE it! I found myself savoring each chapter, allowing myself the time to span my own life experiences in the same time frame of historical events. Getting the skinny on what REALLY happened and WHY is satisfying.
I am grateful to Major Ed Dames for sharing REMOTE VIEWING with the world.
I loved being in the classroom's and I love this book! If you really want to learn how to
remote view, get his DVD's or if he is still doing live workshops, GO! You will never be the same!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marilyn From California

I loved this book right from the start. I couldn't put it down. It just makes you think of all the possibilities that are out there and how we can really reach anything with our minds. Major Ed Dames is the Godfather of Remote Viewing. This book is just the tip of the iceberg as to what is truly possible if you focus and put your mind to it. Great book, I highly recommend it to anyone with an opened mind.

I love Maj. Dames' writing style, I can picture him giving one of his RV training classes, everyone riveted to their seats. But I didn't care for his attitude towards "untrained" psychics, lumping them all as charlatans/fakers. His ego verges on the obnoxious here & there thruout the book, as if HE were the world's authority on Remote Viewing.
I expected the book to include more descriptions of what he "saw" via RV, not so much a smattering of cases that he did/didn't solve. Still an entertaining read.

If you don't have this book and don't understand remote viewing, it's past time to wake up. No remote viewing expert can surpass Major Ed Dames. I encourage even the biggest skeptic to read the book and take a serious look at Major Dames lesson packages. Even the beginner will be pleasantly surprised at how accurate you can find out anything from the past, present or future.

This was a very interesting book. It would appeal to people without any interest in the paranormal, as it is presented in a very down to earth way. A new perspective on some far-out material

Major Dames, one of the biggets names in RV has written interesting book, mostly about his experience with RV and stories of his encounter with it. If you expect to be thought the ways and techniques of RV this is not the book for you. Anyway, it is such a subject, i'm sure it cannot be thought only through books, but mostly with personal tutoring. So better go on a workshop or a course. Interesting stories anyway, and a good read.
