Found these guys on Spotify! Great music if you like heavy and melodic. Don't think about it, just buy it!

I wasn't expecting this record the way I had read some of the reviews. This I feel is not inclusive to the style of the period, and it warrants more of a curiosity I think in how under the radar it was. I wouldn't really go a as far as the best record, but there are elements that poke through the thistles, and shine a little light in the crevices of the production, and players. Vocally I was taken aback. The range especially warrants another listen, and as I get more comfortable with it I'll expand on my review here. Thanks for reading.

Two Angels and a Dream

I was browsing through the bargain section of a music store when i found this gem. It was one of those CDs that i've wanted to buy when it was first released and i was fortunate to have bought it today (it's never too late) for only USD3.00 as a brand new CD. I can't believe that i've neglected this album earlier coz it's awesome and their music is so melodic. I think it's one of the best Nu-Metal CDs ever released if i should categorise their type of rock music. They have great melodies, heavy riffs and the vocalist sounds much like Douglas of Hoobastank, Brandon Of Incubus and Serj Of System Of A Down at times. Too bad the band didn't get as much recognition and popularity especially in my country where popular music rules the airwaves. My favourite songs are "This Time","Let It Go" and "From The Inside". I really hope this band does not get lost into obscurity and i will definitely buy their new album if they're ever gonna release it which i believe would be their sophomore album anytime soon.

I saw these guys with mudvayne and taproot in L.A. I saw em, and thought they were just...awesome! I got the cd, and wasn't dissapointed...but it wasn't the band i saw onstage. On stage he was one angry dude...rivalling Hatebreed, and on the CD his anger isn't really transfered. I'm not saying it doesn't rock, it does, but if you ever get the chance: see them live. It WILL give you a different outlook on them.

The last song is very different from all the rest, but i put it on repeat and i never get tired of it.

Check em out, they actually use more than power chords...scary i know, but check em out.

I would like to start off by saying that Interscope Records has something here, and they need to do something about it! This band doesn't get enough publicity, they need some advertising, Interscope needs to promote!! Ok, now that that's out, this CD is INCREDIBLE. I must say on first listen it seems different, however it will grow and you, it is definately one of the best rock cds I have ever heard. The vocals are incredble, and the harmonies open up for crashing guitars. This band is overly underrated. I like every track on here, "Two Angels and a Dream" probably being my favorite. The things they have that most bands lack is ORIGINALITY, they have a unique sound that keeps them from "sounding like everyone else". SO do yourself a favor, go out and buy this album! You will not be disappointed!

While many reviewers here complain about Depswa's lack of heaviness on their debut album, many do not realize that this is a direction that the band wanted to pursue; it is, then, what Depswa is.
Having said that, this CD blows me away. From the catchy tune "This Time" to the incredible acoustic "Traveler's Song", this CD delivers across a broad rock spectrum that is sure to please almost anyone who enjoys rock music. It is heartfelt, well-written music that speaks volumes - "Prom Song" alone, in comparing words to paint which paints a picture of love, is one of the best-written songs I've heard in years. If you haven't listened to this yet, you owe it to yourself to do so.

Muss man einfach anhören, dann versteht man schon.

At The Drive-inに通じる匂いがあるかも…。
LINKINPARK、HOOBASTANK、INCUBUS
