400HP 440V8, PROFESSIONALLY BUILT GENERAL LEE, DIXIE HORN, 4-WHL DISC, AC, CLEAN
It doesn't get much better than a 1969 Dodge Charger that has been stuffed with a 440 big block, 4-wheel disc brakes, Vintage A/C and power steering. There's not much that you can improve on there, short of turning it into one of the most easily recognized and iconic TV cars of all time - The General Lee.
Professionally built by General Lee Chargers of Troutman, NC, this General Lee is built to impeccable standards including the split grille, correct taillight panel, covered in the correct Flame Red paint, push bumpber, CB whip antenna, and the full signature graphic package. Buddy Cram of General Lee Chargers specializes in building only General Lee Replicas, so you can rest assured that this is a extremely well built car.
Some might be quick to point out that it has the black interior instead of the tan interior that we are so familiar with seeing on the show. Which is correct, the majority of the show had a tan interior, however, Cram was quick to point out that the tv show used multiple cars, and in a few episodes cars with black interior actually made it on to the screen. Either way, you would have no reason to complain when looking at this interior. It's clean and comfortable and features the Rallye instrument cluster, button top seats, plush carpets and a three-spoke steering wheel.
Under the hood, you'll find an engine bay that has been stuffed with plenty of Mopar big block power. The 440ci V8 has been built with a Mopar Purple camshaft, electronic ignition, aluminum intake and a Edelbrock 4-bbl carburetor. All said and done the engine produces approximately 400hp. Look closely and you'll see that the car is also equipped with Power Steering, AC - Needs a charge, thick front sway bar and 4-wheel disc brakes.
Don't miss your chance to own one of the most iconic cars of all time. Priced to sell, you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer General Lee with this price tag.
