Ceremony & Reception Spaces
La Ventura Event Center features a beautiful 1500-square-foot outdoor courtyard with Spanish tiles, exposed wooden beams, olive trees, and a cozy outdoor fireplace. It's the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony!
Just next to the courtyard, doors lead inside into the Grand Parlor which features large windows, high ceilings with exposed wood beams, wood floors, and ornate wall sconces that line the perimeter of the room.
La Ventura Event Center can accommodate up to 200 guests for your event.
Other Venue Features
La Ventura Event Center has spacious Bride and Groom suites that the couple and their bridal party can use for getting ready before the ceremony and for storing personal items during the allotted rental time. Additional getting ready time can be purchased if you'd like to start getting ready earlier.
There are about 52 parking spaces available for events at La Ventura Event Center and guests may not park in undesignated areas or surrounding the neighborhood. As a result, valet services are required for all events here and are an additional cost.
Costs
Rental fees for this venue can range from $4000-6000 depending upon your wedding date. The rental fee includes 11 hours of site access (this includes your setup and tear down time), chairs and tables, movable wooden bars, and a cleanup fee. Plates, glassware, and linens are not included.
The venue does require that you use their inhouse catering, bar, and valet services. These are an additional cost but will help to ensure your event runs smoothly. The in-house catering is known for being absolutely wonderful and their chef can help you make menu selections and customizations that fit your event and dietary needs.
For all other vendors, you can choose from their preferred list, or bring your own vendors in so long as they meet the legal and insurance requirements (which are pretty standard for all venues in SoCal). All events hosted here must have a licensed and insured coordinator on-site to mangage the event.
Wedding Photos at La Ventura Event Center
If you haven't already noticed, every inch of this property is beautiful and great for wedding photography! As a photographer, I love the beautiful natural light in the courtyard area, and the beautiful hallway that leads to it with potted geraniums lining the walls.
The architecture makes for great framing elements and the gardens create a beautiful backdrop for your photos!
The beach is also only about half a mile from this venue, so be sure to schedule in some time to slip away for romantic photos on the sand!
