We Have All the Details on Elle King's Multi-Stone Engagement Ring

Elle King is engaged—again! The “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer took to Instagram on October 9 to share that she and boyfriend Dan Tooker were engaged after one year of dating.

“Today is our 1 year anniversary. We rode horses up a mountain to go gold panning,” King captioned her post. “I had a ring in my pocket and I was going to toss it in the gold pan and propose to @tattooker ... but of course, my soulmate beat me to the punch and proposed to me the exact same way.”

King went on to say that when he got down on one knee, she knelt down along with him, and the two simultaneously proposed. How 2020 of them! We love a progressive proposal! 

And her ring is definitely worth a mention—but doesn’t come with a small price tag. Diamond expert and CEO of WP Diamonds, Andrew Brown, estimates that the unique ring probably cost around $20,000.

“Elle King's gorgeous engagement ring appears to be an intricate multi-stone diamond ring comprised of two ‘flowers,’ each featuring a 1ct round brilliant center stone,” says Brown. “Sprouting from the center stones, numerous smaller stones dot the stems and petals—with the total ring weight around 3cts.”

The tattoo artist also posted to his Instagram saying, “I love you so much and couldn’t imagine eternity with anyone else. I love you forever and more @elleking”

This is King’s third engagement. The singer previously wed Andrew Ferguson in a secret ceremony in 2016 before breaking up in 2017. In July of 2019, King announced she was engaged to her boyfriend of 15 months, Jim. 

But the third time’s a charm! In July, King told Entertainment Tonight that she had spent “the most time” with Tooker during quarantine than she has ever spent with any significant other. “It can 100% break a relationship,” she said. “But for us, it just made us stronger.” 

It seems as though the two found a little more than gold on their special outing. Congratulations are in order for the happy couple!
