Rachel Zegler and her boyfriend Josh Andrés Rivera are turning into a celebrity power couple, by which I mean they’ve starred in not one but two movies together. On top of both appearing in West Side Story (where they met/became best friends/fell in love), they are set to appear in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Josh and Rachel gushed about mixing their work and love lives with People, and I can’t help but melt. 🥲
“Having a familiar face on any set, I think any young actor can attest, is the biggest form of comfort,” Rachel said. “And also as his girlfriend, his friend, and his coworker, it’s amazing to see the trajectory of his career, and to witness his rise to stardom. I love him so much.”
He added, “I feel really lucky. It was a really great source of comfort for me to have her with me so far away from home. We were in a different country. We got to explore that country together. It was absolutely lovely. I feel very fortunate.” And, of course, the couple would debrief with each other after long days on set. “It’s acting and she’s very good at it and she’s very professional and she’s a wonderful coworker,” Josh told the outlet. “I think we were able to communicate when one of us was down. It was nice. We were good support for one another.”

The Battle of Songbirds and Snakes paid a visit to The Kelly Clarkson Show, where the singer asked Rachel and Josh about their habit of passing notes on set. In a clip shared with Kelly, Josh is seen passing Rachel a folded piece of paper, which the Snow White actor opens with an *adorable* burst of laughter.
"She told me to draw her as a flower," Josh explained. "So I did this really crude drawing of a flower with a little smiley face on it and some legs." He then passed Kelly a drawing he made of her as a dog, and now all I want is to see his original drawing of Rachel, tysm.
