Update: Following the incident, Stanley posted a stitch of the viral video featuring the president of Stanley, Terence Reilly. In the stitch, Reilly acknowledged said that @danimarielettering will be receiving Stanleys and also a new car. "All of us at Stanley, we'd really like to replace your vehicle," he said.

It's all starting to make sense now. Just days after several people were spotted camping out at various Starbucks locations to get the shop's limited edition Stanley tumbler, a viral video on TikTok proves that they may have been on to something. The shocking TikTok video shows that not only are Stanley tumblers aesthetically pleasing, they're also apparently fireproof!

In the short clip, user @danimarielettering can be seen sifting through a car that was on fire the day before. The inside of the car is visibly charred, but then the camera zooms in on the Stanley tumbler resting confidently in the cupholder.

"Everybody's so concerned about if the Stanley spills, but what about if it melts?" she asked.

Miraculously, the Stanley cup is very much still in one piece. The tumbler shows no signs of being burned, and most shocking of all, when the cup is picked up you can hear the clink of ice still inside. They didn't melt because the cup kept them cold enough even as the car burned around it.

People in the comments of the TikTok immediately demanded that her experience be turned into a Stanley ad. The sound of the clinking unmelted ice alone is strong enough for a big budget Super Bowl commercial.

"Stanley should really use this as an advertisement," said one user.

"Stanley better cut you a check after this advertisement," another person chimed in.

Some people are beginning to see the light when it comes to the viral Stanley cups.

"Never understood the Stanley hype until now so they better get you money for this free advertisement," said a former non-believer

The indestructible tumbler may have even inspired a new color name for future Stanleys.

"You better patent that color asap! Stanley will soon be coming out with a 'burnt Kia orange'," said one TikToker.
