In Olympic basketball news, Draymond Green continues to, uh, get a rise out of people. Latest stunt: he “accidentally” sent out a picture of his Johnson on Snapchat.

He’s had a busy few months: in the Finals, he called LeBron James a “bitch” and then hit him in the balls when James stepped over him on the court. Then he got into a bar fight with a Michigan State football player. Now this.

Someone needs to take him aside and have a quiet word. This is becoming a very expensive off-season for Green.

Venezuela’s chances took a hit when Greivis Vasquez had to bow out as he’s recovering from an injury. He’s the only NBA player on the roster - or was, anyway.

Andrew Bogut, who will represent Australia, has gotten into a weird Twitter war with fellow Aussie hoopster Liz Cabbage and assorted others.

Cambage, whose father is Nigerian and mother Australian, commented on a Black Lives Matters rally in Melbourne. Bogut was not impressed and said so although he later tweeted that he “[h]ighly regret[s] that tweet. Did some research and shocked at the number of police shooting ppl in Melb. Apologies.”

Well, for that anyway. He got another dig in about what Cambage was doing while rehabbing which she didn’t appreciate.

An Aussie rapper jumped in and then a soap opera actor jumped in.

It’s not as foolish as sending out your manhood on Snapchat but it’s hard to beat as a way to cause unnecessary controversy for two teams.

It seems almost trivial to mention it after that but the Boomers beat China 82-53, without Patty Mills, while the women fell to the U.S. team 104-89 in Madison Square Garden.

The U.S. women have won five straight gold medals and are very likely to win six.
