If you love retro video games, then you're probably a fan of the old-school titles from the original Atari game console. Atari Flashback 4 offers dozens of built-in titles and includes several features not found in other Flashback systems. For the first time in the Flashback series, you are given the freedom of wireless joystick controllers. This lets you move comfortably in response to the game. It's quite the change over from the original system control, which was operated with plug-in wired joysticks. These new wireless controllers look like the original ones. The console also remains true to the Atari design. Like the original 2600 unit, all you have to do with this one is plug it into your TV and play. This sleek black Atari console also ups the ante by increasing the number of games it holds to 75, which is up from just 60 in its previous iteration. New additions to the game library include popular Atari titles. Breakout, Crystal Castles, Football, Frontline, Human Cannonball, Black Jack, Haunted House, Jungle Hunt, and even the classic Pong appear on this system. It's like having a video game arcade or game store in your home filled with all the titles from your childhood. Atari Flashback also includes some classic titles. It features a slot machine game, RealSports, and card games such as Solitaire. With so much to offer, it's a one-stop video game console that will provide hundreds of hours of old-school play. You can revisit simpler digital times whenever you please. It's also a lot of fun for younger gamers who grew up on mobile games and toys that aren't that much different from these classic titles. It's difficult to find a gift that can appeal to anyone of any age or walk of life. This, however, is a great family gift that is sure to offer something for everybody.     I never thought to relive the days of Atari game play, but now, I can!

    Well, I was a bit surprised at how small the game console actually is but the games are just as I remember them to be when I used to play them with my kids. For some reason though, now, they are not as much fun as I remember them to be. I attribute that to age and new tech. But for those of use who like to walk the hallowed halls of game nostalgia, this system earns five stars from me!The only complaint I could have is that they have not included every last game. I used to especially love the Journey game, but I have no complaints. This system is really superb. I play with it at least once a week!
