60-for-60

FOX Sports Florida

FOX Sports Florida will produce and televise all 60 Marlins games this regular season plus the upcoming exhibitions against the Braves on Tuesday and Wednesday, the network has announced. Opening Day on July 24 gets a one-hour pregame show (typically, pregame coverage will begin 30 minutes in advance).

The on-air talent looks very familiar with Paul Severino and Todd Hollandsworth in the booth, Craig Minervini, Jessica Blaylock and Kelly Saco hosting and reporting, and Tommy Hutton, Jeff Nelson, Gaby Sánchez and J.P. Arencibia as pregame/postgame analysts. But due to COVID-19 concerns, they will work all road contests remotely from Marlins Park.

In the meantime, there are a few more intrasquad simulated games in Miami to conclude Summer Camp. Hector Rodriguez has the highlights from Thursday.

On Friday, Danilo Santos (@Danilo_Sant0s) will update you from Marlins Park. First pitch at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET.

Recent pod streak

For the first time in 2020, the Fish Stripes staff released podcast episodes on three consecutive days. They each have distinct tones and topics of conversation. Wednesday’s was Marlins Barbecue with Alex Contreras and Red Garcia, Thursday’s was our “Marlins Dream Draft” with Fish Army co-founders Jacob Carrion and Shane Sutton, and Friday’s featured MLB betting advice from Tyler Wilson.
