Help with Steves medical expenses

I’m raising funds for a close friend, Steve Lakose. He was involved in a very serious mountain bike accident at Case Mountain on May 17, 2021.  As a result of the accident he has multiple serious injuries: a fractured skull, vertebrae and nasal cavity along with multiple lacerations and swelling to his brain.  He is currently hospitalized and remains in a medically induced coma.  Early prognosis sounds promising however he has a very long road to recovery ahead of him that will no doubt require extensive rehabilitation care.  

Two of Steve’s greatest passions have been cycling and sailing, over the years he has been very active in both communities.  He is a good friend to many and is always quick with a smile and to lend a hand to others. Many of us closest to him have reached out to ask how we can be of help so I’m setting up this gofundme page as a means to help defray some of the costs associated with his hospitalization and rehabilitation care.
