Half Marathon for FND Hope

I am Megan, I am running 13.1 miles on 14th May 2023. I myself have FND and I want to prove to myself and other alike that despite this disability, I am capable of running a half marathon like anybody else! In the last two years I have experienced countless challenges with not only my physical but mental health. Having missed numerous days of school due to my seizures and blackout episodes, it has added an element of difficulty to my day to day life. That aside, running had always been a great outlet for me to leave the house and get some exercise. In the early days, doing this on my own was practically impossible, so going with friends was my solution. I hope to raise more awareness of this hidden disability and focus people’s attention to highlight the adversities faced when living with this condition.
