Help me help new NoMi moms as a Doula

My name is Jamie Cutler, I'm a local mom with two kids and two traumatic hospital birth stories with the characteristic cascade of interventions and everyone I've talked to about it seems to have similar stories of their own. After my second daughter was born via unnecessary c-section I became incredibly curious and very passionate about women's health care, specifically and especially birth and postpartum care. I want more than anything to be a part of the solution for other women, an advocate and a support person that as a low income medicaid patient I myself did not have access to. There is an opportunity for a 3 day training in May. Unfortunately I did not qualify for a scholarship. I need $699.00 to participate. I would be very grateful for any help in reaching this goal.
