Jacek's Fundraiser

Our colleague and friend Jacek Bedkowski suffered a brain aneurysm in November 2020 and underwent numerous brain surgeries to stop and prevent further bleeding. While the surgeries were successful, Jacek remains in hospital and still has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
 
Jacek is happily married to Joanna and they have a beautiful young daughter Julia. Both Joanna and Julia have been inspiring in their support of Jacek during this difficult time.

Jacek is a very talented Senior Technician with our company PUNCH Consulting Engineers. He is very popular and admired amongst his colleagues and is extremely dedicated to his work. He is greatly missed by everyone and this is why the staff of PUNCH Consulting decided to make this fundraiser. It is currently unknown for how long Jacek will be in recovery but his colleagues and friends want to help ease the family’s stress in any way we can.

While anyone is welcome to donate on this gofundme, we will also be using the PUNCH staff’s donations to the page as their registration for a virtual race! For the month of March 2021, PUNCH staff will race in teams virtually. They will cover the return journey distance from Jacek’s workplace in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, Ireland to the town he grew up in Raciborz, Poland and back. (4,000km !!)

Let’s all see what we can do to help and we look forward to seeing Jacek back with his family, his friends, doing his Pilates, making his favourite Polish chicken soup and sharing his Black Forest gateau in the PUNCH canteen at work very soon.
