Lynn Anderson (1947-2015) was a Grammy-winning American country singer. Anderson began performing at age 6 and scored her first Top 40 hit in 1966 with Ride, Ride, Ride. Since then, she had 17 songs in the top 10 on the U. S. Country charts and eight chart-toppers, including the hit (I Never Promised You a) Rose Garden, which also peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop charts and earned her a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Anderson released a total of 32 albums since 1967; her latest album, as of this biography, was 2010's Cowgirl II. She also won plaudits in the equestrian world, with 16 national championships and eight world championships. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
