Batfans, take note: Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour is bringing out the big guns (or should we say “big batarangs?”) to celebrate Batman’s 75th anniversary.
The superhero is the center of the tour’s new “The Batman Exhibit” which features props, costumes and Batmobiles on display at Warner Bros.’ Burbank lot.
PHOTOS Fox’s ‘Gotham’: Meet the Characters From Batman Prequel
Batman Returns star Danny DeVito kicked things off during a Thursday press event, where he turned on the Bat-Signal and channeled his villainous character.
“Isn’t that lousy Batman gonna come? I don’t want the Batman here,” DeVito said in between Penguin quacks. He went on to call Batman nothing more than a “rich guy in a suit.”
It’s tough to narrow down, but here are five of the coolest things on display on the lot.
The Batmobiles
Warner Bros. says this is the first time vehicles from all seven of the feature films have been assembled in one room. Two Tumblers from the Christopher Nolan trilogy are beasts and Michael Keaton‘s Batman Returns ride looks good enough to drive off the lot.
Heath Ledger‘s Joker costumes
We’re not just talking about his trademark suit. There’s also Ledger’s nurse costume, complete with the Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) campaign button. For those who prefer the original, Jack Nicholson‘s costume is also on display.

Freeze!
The stuff from Tim Burton‘s and Nolan’s films are the major stars—but surprisingly, the props from the much-maligned Joel Schumacher films more than hold their own. Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s Mr. Freeze costume is as flashy as it is in the film. If Nolan’s costumes look like how a comic book character might appear if he were an actual human, Schumacher’s look like a comic book character bursting from the pages.

The Cowls
About a dozen or so of the masks worn by Keaton, Val Kilmer, Clooney and Bale are on display.
The Dark Knight props
There’s a lot of tiny details from the film here. Harvey Dent’s (Aaron Eckhart) coin is right next to the Dear John letter Rachel (Maggie Gyllenhaal) wrote to Bruce. (Apparently Michael Caine didn’t actually burn it.) Combined with the cowls, touches like this give the exhibit a truly Smithsonian vibe. At time’s it’s easy to forget you’re looking at a piece of movie history and not something older and weightier, like Abraham Lincoln‘s hat.
There’s much more, including that nuclear bomb from The Dark Knight Rises and costumes worn by Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway in the film; DeVito’s Penguin suit from Batman Returns; and Bale’s batpod. For more information, head over to the tour website.
