Love the look on my newly painted black door.

Very nice handleset. The smartkey system is very easy to use. Plan on getting more locksets for the rest of the house with smartkey so I can use one key for all of the doors.

This is an attractive and beefy door handle/lock set. No complaints there. It measured to fit my existing set and was off by less than 1/4" which meant I had to hire a professional to re-drill and plug one existing hole. (I am not handy with things like this) Other than that, it is really nice to look at and to operate. I recommend this product.

High quality products for a decent price

Bought it from HD on a one day sales few months ago. Good value for the price. Familiar with the instruction before installing. Am satisfy with the lock. Pros: * Easy installation if there are preexisting holes for the lock * Lock mechanism has an excellent turn key feel - Not too loose or too stiff * Feel sturdy due to its weight and nice finish (Time will tell) * Parts are better than my old lock (e.g. Longer screws and better lock plates) Notes (Not really Cons): * My old set had a dead bolt at the top and push button lock at the bottom. This unit has only the dead bolt (See HD photos). * My old keys (Not all keys) were suitable for re-keying feature. Due to habit, I'd a set of keys made, thus, have not tried this feature. BTW: Search the internet for key requirements. * Prefer long handle (e.g. Tobin style) than round knob. If both hands are holding something, former can be easily opened with an elbow. Bugs get in if door is left opened. * My old lock has a single housing (Like estate collection). The holes for the lock top and the bottom are fixed. First lock of similar style didn't fit. Being a 2 piece set avoids this issue but the spacing between the dead bolt and the handle is closer than expected.

Was a little confusing to install. My front door color is classic burgundy and the new gold door handle/knob go beautifully with my door.

Looks great. Replaced brass hardware and love it. You get what you pay for and Baldwin is worth every penny.
