The Slovakia-based Kinex Bearings is an established name in the field of bearings. The company, with its presence at the global level, offers solutions to different sectors such as aerospace and railways. It has also carved a niche for itself in the field of textile applications with its wide range of bearings, which was on display at the stall of Earnest (I) Trading Company, the sole authorized representative of Kinex Bearings in India during the recently held India-ITME 2016 trade show.
Commenting on the products on display, Mr. R. Earnest, President, Earnest India Trading Company, said: “The wide range of high speed bearings from Kinex which are typically used in open end spinning machines are on display here. Although Earnest Trading has been dealing with Kinex Bearings for over seven years now it was in November 2015 that we officially became the authorized representative for the company.” Earnest India also deals with used and reconditioned Elitex Textile machinery and its spare parts . It also has a sister concern Martina Project Services which executes turnkey projects in the textile industry.
Speaking of the key objective of the company’s participation in India-ITME 2016 trade show, Mr. Earnest pointed out: “As the market is flooded with fake bearings, it is hard for customers to differentiate the counterfeit from the original ones. We, along with the top executives of Kinex Bearings who are here, are utilizing this platform to educate customers on how to differentiate and find out a fake Kinex bearing from an original. There are distinct features in the logo design using which customers can find out a fake Kinex bearing. Moreover, since we are the only authorized representative for Kinex bearings, any bearing that you buy from elsewhere will by default be a fake one. So, from now onwards finding out a fake Kinex bearing has become a relatively easier task.”
According to Mr. Earnest, although the original Kinex bearings may cost a little more than the fake ones initially, due to their longer life (ranging for upto 3 years on an average), superior performance, minimal maintenance and their positive impact on yarn quality and machine condition, they will cost actually 50% cheaper to the customer in the long run, as compared to the fake bearings. Kinex Bearings has been conducting seminars regularly in mills around India educating entrepreneurs about the various aspects of proper maintenance of bearings.
The company also offered a ‘consortium discount’ to large volume buyers at the India-ITME 2016 trade show.
